Sorry, that solution doesn't help. I don't think it is related, as the symptoms are different. Also the ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf file that it talks about is not present in my system. I have tried creating that file with the content suggested, but it doesn't resolve the problem. ** Changed in: ubuntuone-client (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => New -- [ubuntuone] crashes when clicking on cloud icon https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/523524 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome Installed intrepid alpha 5 a couple of days ago and everything was working fine after a few updates were install. Then following a reboot after some updates yesterday (11th Sept) gnome no longer fully loads. The mouse cursor is responsive, but nothing further happens, despite leaving it for 10mins.
