Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

After reporting the same problem with my 64bit laptop install (bug -
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntuone-client/+bug/523524
), my 32bit netbook install is also displaying the problem. On boot-up
the cloud icon appears in the panel with '!' in it. If I left click on
it, it crashes and apport reports the crash.

If any further information is required, please let me know.

[Bug 523524] Re: [ubuntuone] crashes when clicking on cloud icon

2010-02-23 Thread dwp0980
Sorry, that solution doesn't help. I don't think it is related, as the
symptoms are different. Also the ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf
file that it talks about is not present in my system. I have tried
creating that file with the content suggested, but it doesn't resolve
the problem.

[Bug 523524] [NEW] [ubuntuone] crashes when clicking on cloud icon

2010-02-17 Thread dwp0980
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

I cannot connect to ubuntuone through nautilus, and when I try to start
the client, the cloud icon appears in right right panel, with
exclamation mark in it. If I left-click on the cloud, it crashes and
apport reports the problem.

I have no problem at all syncing Tom Boy notes.

If I can provide any further that might help, please let me know.

Using Ubuntu 9.10

[Bug 269409] [NEW] [intrepid] gnome doesn't start any more.

2008-09-12 Thread dwp0980
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome

Installed intrepid alpha 5 a couple of days ago and everything was
working fine after a few updates were install. Then following a reboot
after some updates yesterday (11th Sept) gnome no longer fully loads. I
get the ubuntu splash no problems, then the 'wait' cursor, then a mouse
pointer and the creamy background are displayed. The mouse cursor is
responsive, but nothing further happens, despite leaving it for 10mins.

I have tried the last successful boot, but the same thing happens, as I
assume it thinks that it booted successfully. I have tried the repair
options in the 'safe' boot. Also tried apt-get update/upgrade/dist-
upgrade to no avail.

If any further information is required, please let me know.

[Bug 250667] Re: [intrepid] iwl3945 not working after resume from hibernation

2008-09-10 Thread dwp0980
Happy to report that (so far) my iwl3945 ABG in Sony Vaio laptop does
not have any problems. I was experiencing similar problems to the
original bug reporter when laptop was put in sleep mode (with the lip
shut). This doesn't seem to happen. I have installed intrepid Alpha5
and after some initial problems with nm-applet everything seems to be
fine now.
