[Bug 2055444] [NEW] Thunderbird hangs after nntp connection failure
Public bug reported: Whenever my network connection is interrupted because of trouble with wifi or vpn, after it is restored, thunderbird shows a progress bar for hours/ever, suggesting it is trying to connect to my nntp server. There doesn't seem to be a way to show or kill connection attempts, so the only way to get thunderbird back in a useful state is to restart it. This is extremely annoying. ** Affects: thunderbird (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2055444 Title: Thunderbird hangs after nntp connection failure To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunderbird/+bug/2055444/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
