The CVS file was created by Glom when Export.
With Open Office can see the return characters Ctrl+F10, or with

Attach the Glom database Clientes.glom and the CSV file File to import.csv.

[Bug 309423] Re: Glom 1.8.3 Filter data in List view

2008-12-22 Thread elmergato
Sugestions:

1) In Details view, when search (Ctrl+F), some drag and drop icons are
displayed.

2) In List View, possibility to restrict search to list view fields.
(actually only search in all fields).

3) Possibility to Save a Search (name a search, filter name). Sometimes a
search is done very often, for example to filter records of a specific year.
Or the possibility to create, save with a name, edit and select more List Views.

4) Conditional Search. Show all records in a specific field, with the
condition (equal, bigger, smaller, not equal, contains, etc), of a
value: Search in YEAR field, all the records than 2005

5) Possibility to have more filter criteria: Search in YEAR field,
all the records than 2005 AND/OR search in NAME field, all
records = Maximiliano

How can I edit this comments once added it?

 likely to do much work on the exisiting reports system, because we hope
 to eventually replace it with the new print layouts system. Please file
 a separate bug about that if it's important to you, ideally in bugzilla.

Thanks.

 These commits also mean that Glom will guess a date format (sometimes
 wrongly) when the translator has not provided one. This will be in a new
 glom 1.8.x release soon:

 2008-11-21  Murray Cumming  [EMAIL PROTECTED]

   * glom/libglom/data_structure/glomconversions.c:
   sanity_check_date_text_representation_uses_4_digit_years():
   Default to dd/mm/ for dates when the translator has not provided
   a 4-digit-year date syntax for the locale, printing a warning that the
   default might not be suitable. This seems better than failing.

 2008-11-21  Murray Cumming  [EMAIL PROTECTED]

   * glom/libglom/data_structure/glomconversions.[h|cc]:
   Added sanity_check_date_parsing() and
   sanity_check_date_text_representation_uses_4_digit_years().
   * glom/main.cc: Use them to show informative warnings at startup.
   The translators comment for %x mentions those warnings now too.
   * po/es.po: Add a translation for %x because the es locales do not
   use 4-digit years for this.
   Ubuntu bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glom/+bug/300057

   * glom/test_pyembed.cc: Add a cast to avoid a warning.
   * glom/utility_widgets/db_adddel/db_adddel.cc: Initialize InnerIgnore
   members to avoid warnings, though these would always be initialized in
   real life.

[Bug 276447] Re: Preview window display wrong mail

2008-09-30 Thread elmergato
Under Inbox , when select a mail, the preview window display another mail (see
screenshot atached)
But under Sent, when select a mail, the preview window display the correct mail

I don't know how to reproduce this, think that have lots of mails under the
trash and little space in the Home directory, then clean the trash, so
evolution display Writing to temporary mailbox failed
Gparted to enlarge Home partition, then empty trash successful, but the preview
window under Sent display wongs mails.

[Bug 276447] Re: Preview window display wrong mail

2008-09-30 Thread elmergato
When I try to find a mail (typing the name sender in the Search), for
example the mails sent by Bacher, the Inbox display all the mails sent
by Bacher, but when click over one of this mails to see the content, the
preview window dislpay other mail, sent by other person, so I can't find
mails that had received.
