[Bug 223696] [NEW] Update KMess
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kmess Upgrade KMess from 1.5 to 1.5.1 The latest release (from 9th april) corrects bugs and adds nice imporvements, like contact images in the contact list... Here's a changelog: http://www.kmess.org/changes/ ** Affects: kmess (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Update KMess https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/223696 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 208234] [NEW] Usplash booting with incorrect resolution!
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: usplash This bug is already reported but isn't exactly the same. On Ubuntu Gutsy, usplash boots and the bootplash imahe has the resolution of my screen. On Hardy Beta (and Alphas) usplash uses the lowest resolution, that results in a very ugly bootsplash! Also, I didn't test if it works by editing the usplash config manually, but usplash should also detect it, but this worked on Gutsy! This would be nice to fix as it is very ugly! :) ** Affects: usplash (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Usplash booting with incorrect resolution! https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/208234 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 203199] [NEW] Gdebi(-Kde) can't install any package!
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdebi Using Gutsy, Gdebi-Kde can't install any package. I didn't attach the log as it is quite small! This is the little, annoying error: /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/apt/__init__.py:18: FutureWarning: apt API not stable yet warnings.warn("apt API not stable yet", FutureWarning) kdecore (KProcess): WARNING: setPty() kdecore (KProcess): WARNING: _attachPty() 36 FATAL -> Failed to fork Stranger, on the livecd it works (in English), but once the system installed in French on hard disk it crashed with above error. The programs quits quietly without any error. This is very, very important, it has to work in my opinion to make Ubuntu and Kubuntu a great distro for newbies, but also to pros! ;) Please make this work, certainly for Hardy!!! ** Affects: gdebi (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Gdebi(-Kde) can't install any package! https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/203199 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 95164] Re: Savage (game) doesn't work
Hello, Yes I know but maybe with the output I've send you can see which package is the problem, no? And I think a lot of people play this game now that it's free, but when Feisty will be there what will they do? Maybe could someone test it on his/her pc with feisty, to seeif it isn't my distro that is broen, I upgraded Herd-5 ;) Thanks, kind regards Warren! 2007/3/23, Chris Rose <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > Hi, even if this bug is caused by a change in Ubuntu, there is little we > can do to fix it. I think the problem is Feisty because the same program works in Edgy! 2007/3/23, Chris Rose <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > Thank you for your bug report. > > As Savage is not a game that we package and this bug appears to be in > the game itself, we are unable to do anything. [Bug 95101] Ctrl - Alt - Backspace broken in Feisty
Public bug reported: I use Feisty and find it the best distrib, better than Edgy ;) But when I do this command who everybody knows I don't get back to gdm but stay into text mode :) Yet pressing alt - f{1-6} and then restart gdm works but it would be great if this works again in Feisty :P For info my card is a Geforce 7600GT! [Bug 95071] Re: Nvidia-glx 9755
Hello, I've seen that it would also be good to have the version 9746, but to have directly 9755 is a good idea too! But what does the restricted modules has to make with nvidia-glx?
