[Bug 1401609] Re: gmusicbrowser crashes on close

2020-10-01 Thread eris23
gmusicbrowser 1.1.15+1430~ubuntu16.04.1
perl 5.30.0-9build1
Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS

The workaround at
https://forum.gmusicbrowser.org/index.php?topic=944.msg4175#msg4175
seems to work:

On line 1839 of gmusicbrowser.pl (gmusicbrowser-1.1.15), comment out "exit".
For example:

  exec $Options{Shutdown_cmd} if $turnoff && $Options{Shutdown_cmd};
  # exit; # <= This causes segmentation fault.

[Bug 1100985] [NEW] Add Torrent Dialog's ' Download Location' not set correctly when directory typed into Other->Location field

2013-01-17 Thread eris23
Public bug reported:

running quantal amd64
deluge 1.3.5-1ubuntu4

http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/ticket/2169
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=684128

There is a workaround in http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/ticket/2169 by
patching deluge/ui/gtkui/addtorrentdialog.py to get around the gtk bug.
Deluge won't fix. Maybe Ubuntu can?

Also, until part of the torrent has downloaded in a default location the
"move storage" item doesn't work, and then it takes 2 tries to move the
torrent.

[Bug 703167] Re: Unable to quit Transmission

2011-01-27 Thread eris23
Not encrypted, not NTFS, not external. SATA internal drives formatted ext4.
I actually think it's a kernel file system bug. I periodically have problems
with firefox failing to shut down as well (usually with GNOME System Monitor
saying something about sync).
I have something like 18 TB of storage.
And yes, I'm foolish enough to have tracker active searching most of that.
It's usually when I'm trying to shut down the system that I notice the problem
with transmission. I'll close Firefox, Rhythmbox, every other active program
-- then I try to close Transmission, the window turns grey, and, as far as I
can tell, never finishes closing. Then, I give up and restart. The next time
Transmission starts it probably spends some time verifying one of the torrents.
If I can find exactly how to reproduce the problem I'll let you know.
