Hello Bryce, Why did affect the bug to xorg-server package ? I tried to add informations on this bug by using apport-collect and I obtained the following result : Package xorg-server not installed and no hook available, ignoring As it is the first time I go on Lauchpad to report a bug I'm not sure to have well understood ? So, did you make a mistake or is it me ? To complete the comments I've done yestarday, I don't know if it's a freeze or a crash (I don't know what is the right word ;-(( ). In fact the issue is that blinking colored lines appears on blank (black) screen and I can't do nothing to restore the system. The only solution I have is to reboot the PC !!! Moreover, The issue appears also when I was surfing on the web with firefox of the Lucid version. But in this case I can't reproduce the problem. It's unpredictable for me. It's not like antspotlight screensaver... I hope these comment would help you, Many thanks. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg Hello, I've installed the Edubuntu 10.04 on my PC (its configuration is detailed in the attached file) and a freeze occurs each time I select the antspotlight screensaver (system/preference/screensavers menu).
