[Bug 427529] Re: Creative zen crashes when pluged on ubuntu 9.04
** Description changed: - On a Compaq presario 2500 the player crashes about 10s after being - plugged under "gnome" or after a program attempt to access the player - under "fluxbox" (like the command "mtpfs" or "gnomad2"). + On a Compaq presario 2500 the player crashes about 10s after being plugged under "gnome" or after a program attempt to access the player under "fluxbox" (like the command "mtpfs" or "gnomad2"). + I've tried with another version of ubuntu but I've the same problem and before I updated the firmware it worked well. This new firmware is for Europe only, on this page you'll see it : http://support.creative.com/downloads/?h=7 (1.21.03e). + So the problem is not the version of Ubuntu or my computer but the new firmware that works under Windows but crashes under linux. -- Creative zen crashes when pluged on ubuntu 9.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/427529 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 356157 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/356157 I think I fixed it. [Bug 270429] Re: [MASTER] passwords lost from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2
Sorry : it's actually fixed. But you have to reboot your computer first... Firefox was open when I did the update (with the graphical gnome updater). I closed Firefox, and re opened it. It didn't worked. After rebooting the computer, it works perfectly. Thank you for the fast patch.. maybe you should have warned the user to restart the computer, instead of restarting firefox (which obviously didn't work :s). Thanks anyway. -- [MASTER] passwords lost from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/270429 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 270429] Re: [MASTER] passwords lost from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2
I agree with eNz1m3, it's still not fixed. I updated and the problem is still there. Did you checked that is was fixed before releasing the patch ? Passwords cannot be retrieved, new passwords are not registered either, even if it propose to do so (the top grey bar appears but it doesn't register). The only error I found in the firefox console occurs when I click in an input field to have this autocomplete feature (I don't know if it's related to the bug or not...) : Erreur : uncaught exception: [Exception...
