[Bug 1507655] [NEW] libtiff not found when I do "jhbuild build gedit" on Ubuntu 14.04

2015-10-19 Thread fenixk19
Public bug reported:

If I run "jhbuild build gedit" on Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit system it says:

$ jhbuild build gedit
Required packages:
System installed packages which are too old:
(none)
  No matching system package installed:
libtiff
jhbuild build: Required system dependencies not installed. Install using the
command 'jhbuild sysdeps --install' or to ignore system dependencies use
command-line option --nodeps

But if I do

$ ln -s /usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/tiff.h /usr/include/tiff.h

Then it goes fine further.

jhbuild is installed from Ubuntu standard repositories.

[Bug 1251886] [NEW] alternatives should be supported for arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc links

2013-11-16 Thread fenixk19
Public bug reported:

There is ability to install different versions of arm-linux-gnueabihf-
gcc - 4.7 and 4.8 in latest ubuntu 13.10. But if you install 4.7 version
it is not possible to access it as arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc. This making
not possible to use 4.7 for building kernel, for example, because
toolchain compiler for kernel must end with program name, like -gcc, not
-gcc-4.7.

Yes, it is.
I didn't say using nouveau fixes problem. Suspend was ok on some mainline
kernel, but i used nouveau with it, because dkms didn't build the correct
driver.

** Description changed:

Trying to pm-suspend on last kernel fails: first it goes to suspend, then
shows black screen (text mode) for a minute, and then resumes back. Appears on
3.5.0-18-generic kernel.
If i switch back to 3.2.0-32-generic, pm-suspend works ok.

Attaching dmesg output after running sudo sh -c sync; echo 1
  /sys/power/pm_trace; pm-suspend

It suspend ok on 3.8.0-rc6 mainline without nvidia driver loaded on
remote access, because nvidia was not able to build on dkms with this
  kernel.

It suspend ok on 3.8.0-rc6 mainline. But i've checked it without nvidia

[Bug 1083801] [NEW] Amarok crash reporter says debug info is useless even when -dbg packages are installed

2012-11-27 Thread fenixk19
Public bug reported:

Amarok crash reporter says
Отсутствуют пакеты с отладочной информацией для следующего приложения и
библиотек:

/usr/bin/amarok
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQtScript.so.4

that means, that there is no debug packages for apps and libraries.
But packages amarok-dbg and libqt-script-dbg are installed.

So i can't report a bug in amarok, because information is useless.

3.2.0-33.52 was able to correctly suspend my system.
There was a problem, to bring up back from suspend. Powering on showed black
screen and 3 beeps from bios. Probably, there is some problems with
videodrivers (which wasn't built for 3.2.0-33.52) and it is unrelated to this
bug.

[Bug 476652] Re: sound stops and begins clicking and popping

2010-01-04 Thread fenixk19
i've removed pulseaudio, but other problem disturbs me. It is random
sound glitches during playing sounds with alsa. I think, it is the same
problem, that kicks out pulseaudio:

E: alsa-util.c: snd_pcm_avail() returned a value that is exceptionally
large: 4294953200 bytes (24347807 ms).

I mean, that during playing snd_pcm_avail returns bad value, and player
restarts playing, but not as pulseaudio. It starts playing from the same
place, where it stops, so there is a little glitch. Seems to be, that
cmedia driver is broken and need to be fixed.

[Bug 465118] Re: Glib breaks the system after update

2009-11-01 Thread fenixk19
Hey, i've fixed it :)
There was old file, called /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0.1502.0 and
/usr/lib/libglib-2.0 links was pointing to it. After this file removal
everything works. It is not a bug of glib, but it is certainly a bug of ubuntu
packaging, that don't make links point in right way. And for some reason, it
left this old file on my disk.
