Issue is resolved for me -I *believe* the latest kernel update fixed it

I experienced this behaviour in Ubuntu 19.10 deriv. (Pop!_OS) -tried
older .debs to no avail. built latest from github and is now working as
expected.

Unity appears to launch -mouse moves but all else appears frozen, Nouveau 
disappears from Additional Drivers

Driver 270.41.06 attempted to use Recommended, Nouveau disappears from 
Additional Drivers
Dell Latitude D620
