[Bug 1537680] [NEW] Missing calendar items from CalDAV ressource
Public bug reported: I'm using DavMail [1] as a middleware between Akonadi and my company's Microsoft Exchange server. In order to get my calendar shown in Kontact, I have set up a CalDAV resource, pointing to DavMail's local URL. Most of my VEvents show up fine, except for some events (both repeating and non-repeating events). When I download the calendar manually (by opening the calendar URL in a browser) and then add it as iCal ressource, all events are shown, including those who are missing in the CalDAV ressource. I tried to find out how to debug this, to see if something is going wrong during import, but I do not know how to do this properly: - I ran "akonadictl restart" from the command line, to get some debugging output - I ran "gdb akonadi_control" and added the CalDAV ressource - I followed the "Debugging Akonadi Agents" tutorial [2] Maybe I'm looking at the wrong place? [Bug 1119442] Re: No sound capturing possible - only noise - no hardware issue
Some more news: I installed Kubuntu 12.04 - no problems Updated to Kubuntu 12.10 - no problems Then I worked with the system for a while. Today, I paired my Plantronics Bluetooth headset, and the noise reappeared. I posted about this issue on Google+ [1], and it turns out that I'm not the only one who faces this issue: "I installed pavucontrol (it pulls many gnome libs) and found volume levels of sound input devices are set to 25000%—64000% (sic!). Using pavucontrol I can set them to more reasonable levels of 80%—100% but if you move input level sliders in kmix volume levels get back to 25000%—64000%." [Bug 1119442] [NEW] No sound capturing possible - only noise - no hardware issue
Public bug reported: Since my update to KDE 4.10.0 (Kubuntu 12.04 backports) sound recording is not possible anymore. All I hear is hard noise, no matter what microphone I use (analog, usb, …). I recorded my screen so you can see what's happening: http://youtu.be/4YM3oDcl7K4 I record sound using Audacity, so you can see the noise. Then I use KMix and the Audiosettings software to change several configuration settings. I booted Kubuntu 12.04.1 from CD-ROM (installation disk) to check if it is a hardware issue, however recording works fine using the live system.
