[Bug 384724] [NEW] Kyocera sl400r digicam does not work as usb memory
Public bug reported: Some years before my Kyocera Digicam was working fine under linux, but now no Ubuntu can use it to get on the data at the sd-card. Maybe there is a communication problem between the usb-stack and the camera. The kernel announces a sdc-device, but no /dev/sdc is coming! Maybe quite a lot of other old usb-1.1 devices will have the same problem. I have to use a sd-card-reader. :( Jun 8 09:57:40 ubuntustation kernel: [ 255.796026] usb 2-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3 Jun 8 09:57:40 ubuntustation kernel: [ 255.954058] usb 2-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice Jun 8 09:57:40 ubuntustation kernel: [ 255.958529] scsi4 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices Jun 8 09:57:45 ubuntustation kernel: [ 260.972291] scsi 4:0:0:0: Direct-Access Kyocera Finecam SL400R 1.00 PQ: 0 ANSI: 2 Jun 8 09:57:45 ubuntustation kernel: [ 260.983205] sd 4:0:0:0: [sdc] 1950721 512-byte hardware sectors (999 MB) Jun 8 09:57:45 ubuntustation kernel: [ 260.986222] sd 4:0:0:0: [sdc] Write Protect is off Jun 8 09:57:45 ubuntustation kernel: [ 260.999271] sd 4:0:0:0: [sdc] 1950721 512-byte hardware sectors (999 MB) Jun 8 09:57:45 ubuntustation kernel: [ 261.002236] sd 4:0:0:0: [sdc] Write Protect is off Jun 8 09:57:45 ubuntustation kernel: [ 261.002308] sdc: sdc1 Jun 8 09:57:45 ubuntustation kernel: [ 261.013718] sd 4:0:0:0: [sdc] Attached SCSI removable disk Jun 8 09:57:45 ubuntustation kernel: [ 261.014078] sd 4:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg4 type 0 Jun 8 09:58:15 ubuntustation kernel: [ 291.372042] usb 2-2: reset full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3 Jun 8 09:58:46 ubuntustation kernel: [ 321.916101] usb 2-2: reset full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3 Jun 8 09:59:16 ubuntustation kernel: [ 352.460052] usb 2-2: reset full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3 Jun 8 09:59:27 ubuntustation kernel: [ 362.820097] usb 2-2: reset full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3 Jun 8 09:59:37 ubuntustation kernel: [ 373.068116] usb 2-2: USB disconnect, address 3 Jun 8 09:59:37 ubuntustation kernel: [ 373.070815] scsi 4:0:0:0: Device offlined - not ready after error recovery Jun 8 09:59:37 ubuntustation kernel: [ 373.073423] scsi 4:0:0:0: [sdc] Result: hostbyte=DID_NO_CONNECT driverbyte=DRIVER_OK,SUGGEST_OK Jun 8 09:59:37 ubuntustation kernel: [ 373.073468] __ratelimit: 61 callbacks suppressed Jun 8 09:59:37 ubuntustation kernel: [ 373.180045] usb 2-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4 Jun 8 10:00:08 ubuntustation kernel: [ 403.724084] usb 2-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 5 ** Affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: 1.1 kernel problem usb -- Kyocera sl400r digicam does not work as usb memory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384724 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 113557] Re: desktop effekts causes a white screen in coherence with user-switching
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 107109 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/107109 here it is strange, because if I swith the first time the white screen is coming, I can't see anything, but write my password and get back to the desktop of the first user. But then if I cancel the second user, and directly log in the second user again, then there is no white screen when going back, but I can't write in the password line. I have to cancel the password box, then getting the black screen and the next password screen is working. -- desktop effekts causes a white screen in coherence with user-switching https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/113557 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
