[Bug 501331] [NEW] modules.dep is missing on the initrd
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: initramfs-tools I used mkinitramfs and added manually kernel modules. The commands I tried where copy_modules_dir and manual_add_modules. Both commands ran successful and the module is contained in the initrd. But modprobe fails because the created initrd doesn't contain the modules.dep. I need to mount the root partition before I can use modprobe. I wrote a hook which copies the modules.dep: cp "/lib/modules/${version}/modules.dep" "${DESTDIR}/${MODULESDIR}/" ** Affects: initramfs-tools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- modules.dep is missing on the initrd https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/501331 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 407163] [NEW] No dial up possible
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nozomi-source I installed Karmic Alpha 3 and all updates (31 July) and tried to get online with my Globetrotter 3G. I have a running setup NetworkManager or wvdial on 8.04 using this card. So I tried to get something up and running using the old wvdial configuration file. Tried it via NetworkManager with the old configuration and then created a new configuration and nothing worked. It seems that the card starts to connect and then a timeout occured. But their are no further error codes from wvdial / pppd / networkManager. [Bug 316073] [NEW] NetworkManager ignores plugin event of UMTS card
Public bug reported: I use an Option G3+ UMTS card and everything works fine. The network was configured using NetworkManager and the connection is set to connect automatically. [Bug 298320] [NEW] Since upgrade from 8.04 to 8.10 Evolution can't refresh my folders (imap).
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution Hi! My problem is evolution only shows my folder structure of my imap account (cyrus 2.2; server configuration known to be running; no recent upgrades; auth: gssapi) and says: Error while refreshing folder. Could not connect to - Connection refused. I reset all the evolution gconf stuff and deleted .evolution. Readding my account results in the same. [Bug 220249] [NEW] Apple Wireless keyboard needs a manual disconnect before reconnecting.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-bluetooth Hello, I bought me four days ago the small Apple Wireless Keyboard and tried to get it working. The best part was that I couldn't get it working under Windows XP ^^. To get it running with Hardy cost me 5 min! Really cool! The last problem is that if the keyboard goes to sleep gnome doesn't recognize that the connection is down. So I believe gnome doesn't allow a reconnect, cause it seems from his perspective connect. If I disconnect the keyboard via gnome-bluetooth and start typing everything works again!
