I tried hardy with a live-cd and I've seen some improvements in suspend/hibernate, but my DELL 8500 continues to be "anti-frozen". But when I'll put on pc I'll see better. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: amule I have a dell inspiron 8500 with a p4 processor and a nvidia 4200go graphic card. I istalled gutsy gibbon from a cd, nvidia glx and amule packages from repositories. When I have amule finishing a dowload (the moments between the 100% and the "green line", when the different partial files are pasted together), and amule is "visible" (the bug seems to disappear if amule is on tray icon), often the pc stops to respond to commands, and it's impossible to do anything than push the hardware reset button.
