[Bug 1476788] Re: No calls/texts (in and out) possible without active cellular/wifi connection

2015-07-21 Thread Mad-Halfling
Yes - the network settings show my carrier correctly and displays
connection bar-strength, but the dialer app shows "no network" until I
connect to a wireless network or enable wireless data

[Bug 1264493] Re: No Paste option in web page entries

2015-04-20 Thread Mad-Halfling
Even basics like pasting an image link into a new tweet on the Twitter
app are affected. What it seems to do is select the entire HTML control
(on a long press) rather than activating the text selection/copy/paste
tool on the text within it

2007-10-01 Thread halfling
Public bug reported:

The source of this bug is yet unknown, but ask for more information if wanted

Facts: Laptop
Chipset: Intel Santa Rosa 965PM
BIOS support: PnP, Supports ACPI 1.0b og 2.0
BIOS flashed to version 3.0E (the latest version)
Ubuntu version: Gutsy Gibbon Beta

The is described as the following:
When the AC cable is plugged in then sometimes Ubuntu claims that the AC cable
is unplugged and the laptop lid light is by result of this dampen.
And sometimes on battery with AC cable unplugged then Ubuntu claims that the AC
cable is plugged in.

When the laptop is acting normal:
$ cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/state
present: yes
capacity state:  ok
charging state:  charging

remaining capacity:  3915 mAh
present voltage: 12477 mV
$ cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/state
present: yes
capacity state:  ok
charging state:  discharging
present rate:2074 mA
