[Bug 1467527] [NEW] Empathy crashes when sending IRC direct message to IRC client CIRC (google chrome extension)
Public bug reported: I'm using empathy to connect to IRC. One of the participants in the one channel I am connecting to uses CIRC (a google chrome extension - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/circ/bebigdkelppomhhjaaianniiifjbgocn?utm_source =chrome-app-launcher-info-dialog) as IRC client. Whenever I try to send that user a direct message (using /msg command or richtclick - Chat) empathy crashes it seems. At least I lose connection to the IRC channel. Same thing happens, if that user sends me a direct message and I try to view it in empathy. The problem does not occur in XChat for example.
