[Bug 759997] Re: ath5k card disconnects after a while

I want to say that I live in Italy, but the domain chosen is AT,
Austria. I don't know why.

[Bug 759997] [NEW] ath5k card disconnects after a while

2011-04-13 Thread henk0775
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.38-8-generic

I think that this happens because kernel can't change the regulatory domain of
the module that is stuck in a unknown setting.
This is a regression, because it doesn't in linux 2.6.35

dmesg says this (the mac address is obliously obfuscated),

Update!!! acpi=off works. But now sound is somehow doubled. I can't
explain but I try. It's a sort of echo after half a second.

[Bug 759094] [NEW] Linux 2.6.38-8-generic doesn't boot on Toshiba Satellite A60

2011-04-12 Thread henk0775
Public bug reported:

Linux 2.6.38-8-generic doesn't boot on Toshiba Satellite A60. It happens
very early in boot process, so I can't gather any info. If I boot in not
silent mode, I get in the screen a output of error of kernel, I think,
but I can't read because it scroll very fast. The CPU is a Pentium 4
dual-core 3Ghz 1MB cache. The board is a ATI based. This bug doesn't
affect 2.6.35-X kernel.
