Evolution hangs ~ every 30min with me now; I get "formatting message" and nothing happens, as described by other users. Evolution must be killed (try killing evolution data server, if restart does no work either). Switching to other messages or folders does not resolve the problem. You need to restart Evolution. Evolution must be killed (try killing evolution data server, if restart does no work either). When switching between emails in the message list, it occurs (from time to time) that 2. instead of the email message preview (ctrl + m) 3. you get the message "Nachricht wird formatiert ...". Switching to other messages or folders does not resolve the problem. You need to restart Evolution. The application started via menu will show only "scaning all devices" - that's it and the cpu is working 100%. Stopping gparted by the close-button stops gparted, but cpu is working further more with 100% - only shut down the computer is ending this story. Starting gparted via terminal typing "sudo gparted" same as above, different is you can stopping the high cpu-performance after closing gparted by typing "Strg + C". Typing "sudo blkid" into a terminal (without further options) has shown in the past a total list of all partitions available, these is broken, too. Only by typing "sudo blkid with the option i.e. "/dev/sda1" will provide a correct output of the expected data. It seems to be solved - I do not knew why - I deleted the "first" (and only) user with deluser - function and created a new one and the authorization then was neccessary (input into the checkbox). Same to me - independent of architecture (i386 / amd64) the login to graphical desktop is stopping after selecting an user and typing (the corect) password.
