[Bug 248355] Re: Evince doesn't anti-alias graphics
It is fixed in poppler 0.13.1 (unstable) and should go in the stable 0.14 branch when it comes out -- Evince doesn't anti-alias graphics https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248355 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 92296] Re: Low quality of text rendering in Evince
I don't think this bug is about scanned docs. For scanned (bitmapped) related problems see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/poppler/+bug/248355 and http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5589 -- Low quality of text rendering in Evince https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/92296 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 451880] Re: Poor splash image quality (high banding)
The boot splash image was fixed today. [Bug 248355] Re: Evince doesn't anti-alias graphics
I did some research and found out that this is a Poppler bug and is related to this bug : http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/poppler-bugs/2007-February/000828.html also https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/poppler/+bug/199916 In order to fix the above bug the interpolation default was turned off (interpolate = gFalse in Gfx.cc) The core problem is that the cairo backend only seems to do either full bilinear interpolation or none (nearest neighbour) while it should ALWAYS filter during minification and either interpolate or edge smooth during magnification. Until this is available they should put the interpolation default back on. -- Evince doesn't anti-alias graphics https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248355 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 54191] Re: Mouse button click delayed
Bug confirmed in Karmic final release. [Bug 388160] Re: user input -- mouse queuing flaw
This pesky bug is still present in Karmic. For workaround see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/54191 It seems to be related to 3 mouse button emulation -- user input -- mouse queuing flaw https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/388160 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 248355] Re: Evince doesn't anti-alias graphics
I just upgraded to Karmic hoping for improvement, but it got worse. The AA used to be bad, now there is none. If you look carefully at the okular vs evince image you'll see some grey pixels in the evince rendered text. This is how it used to look on my system also, but now there is only black and white resulting in complete illegibility. Is someone working on this? -- Evince doesn't anti-alias graphics https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248355 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
