Using the current versions of Ubuntu Feisty I still get errors when I try to create files inside a EncFS volume. Creating directories works fine. But he uses Debian. As far as I observed now the ipw3945/0 does NOT run everytime I boot my laptop. I have the same problems running Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper on an IBM Thinkpad Z61m with the Kernel 2.6.15-26-686 #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jul 7 19:48:22 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux One processor is at 100%, the other is in normal operation.
