[Bug 1871960] Re: package libpam-modules 1.1.8-3.6ubuntu2.18.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: pre-dependency problem - not installing libpam-modules:amd64
Hi Steve, I am new to Ubuntu and just updated from 18.04 (there I had wifi connection issues). I encountered the same bug when I updated via update-manager. But I am very happy that the wifi connection is working well now. I am attaching the .log file and I hope this bug can be patched because I would really like to keep using Focal Fossa. Thank you for taking care of this! [Bug 882793] Re: record/track changes data not redable by Microsoft Word when document saved as a doc file
This is not an invalid bug i guess, since i have the same problem. i record my changes in a docx file, whilst working in Libre Office then if i save it in docx version, it sometimes crashes. thought i found the solution by saving in doc format (instead of docx), but not all changes are visible when opening in Microsoft Word. [Bug 561030] Re: System clock runs about two times slower if no connection to internet
I believe I'm experiencing the same problem as Liviu. I'm running a clean install of Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (not Kubuntu) on a Lenovo IdeaPad S12 (Intel Atom CPU N270 @1.60GHz). The system clock seems to get out of synch with the hardware clock only when I don't have an internet connection. This didn't happen when I was running the 9.04 Ubuntu netbook remix on the same machine. I'm happy to provide further info if it would help - would love to get to the bottom of this as I'm having to reset the clock quite often these days! [Bug 566744] Re: java internal lucida bold variants and external ttf-dejavu faces badly rasterized in KGS cgoban3 client
Something like this problem affects me too, but I'm not sure what causes it. The version of java I'm using is openjdk-6-jre, on a clean installation of Ubuntu 10.04. (The problem did not occur with 8.04 or 9.04.) I haven't installed any fonts. The font looks like it is too big for the space available to it (e.g., descenders from 'g's are chopped off and one column of text runs into the next). -- java internal lucida bold variants and external ttf-dejavu faces badly rasterized in KGS cgoban3 client https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/566744 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 566744] Re: java internal lucida bold variants and external ttf-dejavu faces badly rasterized in KGS cgoban3 client
On further examination, it looks like my problem does occur on other Ubuntu distributions. Given that it is not tied to any specific distribution or version of java, my problem is possibly due to CGoban3 itself. Perhaps it is deciding to pack as many lines in as possible, and not properly estimating the width of columns that have 'Robot' in the player name. Apologies if this isn't relevant to the original bug. -- java internal lucida bold variants and external ttf-dejavu faces badly rasterized in KGS cgoban3 client https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/566744 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
