2011-02-02 Thread innominate
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: dragonegg

when I had package llvm-gcc-4.5 I had the following problem:
$ llvm-gcc -O3 -emit-llvm hello.c -c -o hello.b
$ lli hello.bc
   lli: error loading program 'hello.bc': Invalid bitcode signature

I went back to llvm-gcc-4.2 and got expected results

[Bug 348934] Re: MythTV doesn't go full screen without desktop visual effects off

2009-04-25 Thread innominate
I had the same issue with gnome-panels showing with myth-tv full screen
on my primary monitor. But when on my secondary monitor i did not get
the gap issue mentioned above. My monitors are not at the same
resolution thats the only reason i can think of as to why.

With Joes fix full screen works on both monitors.

[Bug 223780] Re: hdc: status error: status=0x59 { DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest Error }

2008-07-01 Thread innominate
Finally got fed up enough with this that i went into the case and
switched the master and slave drive around, and its working now.

Of Note: the drive that was causing the problem was missing its jumper.
It had three slots one master one slave one cable select, so jumper off
was not a valid option. I put the jump for that one on to the slave
pins and moved the jumper on the other to be master.

Also I noticed that if i waited a while after starting to do the:

sudo hdparm -w /dev/hda
sudo hdparm -d1 /dev/hda

commands the computer would occasionally lock up when i executed the
first command.

I also have the same problem. Drive is a ATAPI DVD DD 8X16X8X16
sudo hdparm -w /dev/hdc
sudo hdparm -d1 /dev/hdc
stops the errors but the drive will not show up in Brasero
