[Bug 1809934] Re: AMD AGESA PinnaclePI-AM4_1.0.0.6 causes amdgpu hang on boot
I think I am suffering from a related bug. Asrock X370 Taichi, BIOS 5.10 (2018-12-21). Ryzen 5 2600X. Radeon RX 580. Ubuntu 18.04.02 (HWE). I tested with kernel 4.15 and 4.18, no difference. Can not boot via GRUB with amdgpu driver, unless "amdgpu.dpm=0" is set. I only integrated the RX 580 into the build recently, after updating to BIOS 5.10 (AGESA 1.0.0.6), so I haven't yet tested previous BIOS versions with this card. I wonder if this latest BIOS update is affecting AMDGPU's DPM? https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/X370%20Taichi/#BIOS -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1809934 Title: AMD AGESA PinnaclePI-AM4_1.0.0.6 causes amdgpu hang on boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1809934/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1432322] [NEW] [Realtek ALC892, Pink Mic, Front] No sound at all
Public bug reported: I am unable to coax my front microphone port into recording audio in most circumstances. It appears as Front Microphone in both the Ubuntu Sound Settings and pavucontrol preferences windows, though I can not detect any input in either. Interestingly, I can access the device and successfully record audio through Audacity when explicitly selecting either HDA Intel PCH: ALC892 Alt Analog (hw:0,2) Front Mic:0 or HDA Intel PCH: ALC892 Alt Analog (hw:0,2) Front Mic:1 Also, I was successfully able to record audio during both the ALSA and Pulseaudio tests when creating this bug through 'ubuntu-bug -s audio'. [Bug 1242255] [NEW] Desktop Action causes excessive busy cursor if not invoking new window
Public bug reported: [Ubuntu 13.10] Due to the implemented fix at bug #1179155, pressing a Desktop Action in a menu item’s context menu will cause a ~15 second busy cursor if the Desktop Action does not invoke a new window. E.g. this works fine: [Desktop Action NewWindow] Name=New Window Exec=firefox -new-window These also work, though the busy cursor remains, even though the action may have completed: [Desktop Action NewTab] Name=New Tab Exec=firefox -new-tab [Desktop Action Next] Name=Next Exec=rhythmbox-client --next ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: context-menu cursor-busy desktop-action unity-menu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1242255 Title: Desktop Action causes excessive busy cursor if not invoking new window To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/1242255/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1087140] Re: Audio through Wine momentarially drops out
Additionally, I’ve determined that another long‐standing problem is likely related to the above issue: I hear soft crackling and popping through analogue headphone output and HDMI output to amp/speakers and amp/headphones via Wine applications (such as those mentioned above). Possibly related: Popping also seems to occur via MPlayer, though no crackling. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1087140 Title: Audio through Wine momentarially drops out To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1087140/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1087140] [NEW] Audio through Wine momentarially drops out
Public bug reported: Occurs consistently in the same locations of audio streams decoded from FLACs/MP3s through foobar2000. Also, performing unrelated tasks will sometimes cause similar dropouts (e.g. perhaps simply scrolling up and down a webpage or changing tabs in Firefox). The audible dropouts last about a second. Also occurs in other applications that utilise Wine (e.g. Caesar III). Has been an issue since I did a clean install of Ubuntu 12.04 from 11.10, and still with 12.10.
