2014-08-18 Thread jalgi
Hello again. I am sorry for my silence.
I updated to Ubuntu 14.04 and, it works!
Dave, Shengliang, Christopher... thank you and I apologize if I did not help
enough with this issue, as I said, I am a very basic linux user.
Finally, should I do something else?

[Bug 1243904] Re: [LG P1-J273B] Internal keyboard doesn't work in 13.10

2013-12-02 Thread jalgi
Well. I read almost the entire document but I did not understand the steps I
should follow. As I told, I am a very basic linux user:(
I think the last version that is installed in my laptop is the 3.8.0-33.48 in
raring. Is the security updates version.
And the first version in Saucy I think is the 3.11.0-12.19. Is the release
version. This could be correct?
The question is: Now, How I must do?
Throw the Grub, I can enter at these versions of linux:
3.8.0-31-Generic linux (this works correctly)
3.11.0-generic linux (this is the first that don't work the internal keyboard)
Thanks

I've tested the mainline kernel nº 3.13.0-031300rc2 and the daily current
3.13.0-999201311300455 but none of these solve the bug.
thanks for your attention, Chistopher

The note was a mistake and the tag "kernel-bug-exists-upstream-v3.12" is
correct.

Added the tag "kernel-fixed-upstream" and changed to "confirmed".
Do I have to repeat the command "order apport-collect xxx"? or everything is
correct?
Thanks in advance and please bear whith me. I repeat I am a basic user in linux.

[Bug 1243904] Re: Internal keyboard doesn't work in 13.10

2013-11-04 Thread jalgi
ok. I'm sorry. I have a mistake.
Now, using the lastest upstream kernel.
I'm going to repeat the -order apport-collect 1243904-

Buff. It's so hard for me.
I can't repeat the "apport-collect xxx". there is a warning like this:
It appears you are currently running a mainline kernel. It would be better to
report this bug upstream at http://bugzilla.kernel.org/ so that the upstream
kernel developers are aware of the issue. If you'd still like to file a bug
against the Ubuntu kernel, please boot with an official Ubuntu kernel and
re-file.

But, the internal keyboard still does not work.

** Description changed:

  Hello.
I updated from 13.04 to 13.10 but the keyboard did not work.
I tried doing a fresh install but the keyboard did not work with the live cd.
  In 13.04 all works correctly
My laptop is a lg p1 express dual
  Thank you very much

Hello again.
Yes. The USB keyboard works correctly!
All lights, special keyboards, local configuration (spanish)... all works!
It's incredible! (at least, for me;)

2013-10-25 Thread jalgi
Hello
The keyboard to the laptop does not response, but the usb mouse and the
touchpad, yes. I have not an USB keyboard to try it but I'm looking for one.
I tried changing the ibus mode to "default" and "none" ,but it has not
worked.
Thanks for your help and I am sorry for my English.
