[Bug 933294] Re: Disable workspace-overlapping windows feature for desktop experience reasons

2012-05-10 Thread jeanphilippe.gr...@gmail.com
It's highly annoying and it's one of the reasons why I use Gnome shell.
I don't want a window to be on two workspaces at the same time when I do
my work.

[Bug 410407] Re: flash does not recognise mouse clicks

2009-10-19 Thread jeanphilippe.gr...@gmail.com
I'ts a very weird bug that has to be fixed before final release. It only
occurs with adobe flash player when compiz is activated. Note that this
is not a problem in other window managers such as metacity or xfwm.

If it doesn't get fixed, many users will be very confused. I really hope
the developers work on it.

So, how come it works for me in xfwm and metacity, but not compiz?

What graphics card you use shouldn't matter here since inkscape doesn't take
use of the GPU yet (although they plan to).

[Bug 761616] Re: Mouse edge + button doesn't work

2011-05-03 Thread jeanphilippe.gr...@gmail.com
@BryanFRitt
Yes it does.

Also, it doesn't work with Unity2D with Compiz enabled (no surprise
there)

This really bothers me, but I guess it won't be fixed anytime soon since
it only affects the slightly more advanced users, not the "human
beings".

[Bug 761616] [NEW] Mouse edge + button doesn't work

2011-04-15 Thread jeanphilippe.gr...@gmail.com
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

In Ubuntu 11.04 beta2 with the unity interface:

I tried to set up the scale plugin to activate when middle-clicking in
the top left corner, but it doesn't work. Just having a hot corner works
though, but that's not what I want. The problem doesn't only occur in
the scale plugin bu also all other plugins I've tried to customize
through ccsm.

2011-04-06 Thread jeanphilippe.gr...@gmail.com
I don't actually have any invisible borders. I just installed natty and
was looking forward to the invisible border, but now there is none.

I have
