[Bug 438318] Re: [karmic] no sound on toshiba nb205

2010-01-17 Thread jeroenimo
This also might not belong here:

But when you install the 2.6.32 kernel and you add this i915.powersave=0 to
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX= in /etc/default/grub
and then sudo update-grub2 the problem with the screen going dead is gone...

[Bug 438318] Re: [karmic] no sound on toshiba nb205

2009-12-06 Thread jeroenimo
Yesterday I did the kernel update to 2.6.31-16-generic, it states in the
changelog Added quirk to make sound word on nb200/205

But I have to say that I still have no sound from the external speaker
on my Toshiba nb200

Hopefully waiting...

[Bug 436027] Re: no sound on toshiba nb200

2009-10-22 Thread jeroenimo
I've tried the 2.6.32-rc5 mainline kernel and the issue keeps,

There is sound from the headphone jack and the internal mic even works
fine(tested with skype), just the external speaker still fails..

[Bug 438318] Re: [karmic] no sound on toshiba nb205

2009-10-22 Thread jeroenimo
Here on my nb200 also I have not had sound from internal speaker working
(it does work with OSS4) the headphonejack an internal speaker work
(tested with skype)

I tested:
2.6.31-6-generic
2.6.31-10-generic
2.6.31-14-generic
2.6.32-020632rc5-generic

And they all have the same non working internal speaker failing..

You sure you used alsamixer to cranck up the recording level?

2009/10/22 sao3 z12y12...@gmail.com
