[Bug 384654] [NEW] sound problem

Public bug reported:

i installed Ubunutu 9.04 about a week ago and every thing was working
fine until i realized that i had no sound. i tried playing music on
different programs such as Limewire and Rythmbox but still no sound. I
have looked up this bug on numerous search engines and found similar
problems.
