[Bug 553743] [NEW] Battery icon is displayed erratically
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager The battery charging/discharging icon comes and goes every thirty seconds, regardless of the "icon display" setting. It comes on for thirty seconds, and then goes away for thirty seconds. As well, the display dims/sleeps regardless of the power setting but, that is reported in a different bug. [Bug 553741] [NEW] display goes to sleep even though sleeping is set to "never"
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg If the laptop is untouched for about ten minutes, the display dims to a blank screen. If I catch it in time, it stops, but if I am away, and I type something, the login comes up, and I have to sign in to get back onto the computer. As well, because it may be a power settings problem, the battery/charging icon in the taskbar comes and goes erratically, whether it is on battery power or not, and whether "always/charging/battery present/ect" is selected for when to display the icon. That is going to be reported in a separate bug. [Bug 553712] [NEW] Headphone jack doesn't mute built-in speakers
Public bug reported: When I plug headphones into the headphone jack, the built-in speakers do not mute, although they do in Windows. Also, headphone jacksense is missing. I am guessing it's because there isn't a physical mute that disables the internal speakers when the headphones are plugged in. From what I remember, Windows 7 uses a Conexant driver. Using 10.04, but I had the exact problem in 9.10.
