[Bug 278055] Re: nvidia-settings generates broken xorg.conf files
Hi, I have the same problem in 8.10 32bit. With drivers 177, if I configure X using nvidia-settings to enable twinview at startup, I end up with a "no device found" error at X startup. Then if I run nvidia-xconfig and I restart X, it will start but there is no twinview. Twinview works only if I start as single monitor and then throught nvidia-settings enable twinview. but I have to do it each time I start the computer. In 8.04, it worked without any flaw.
