[Bug 164847] language-pack-zh conflict with search input bar in synaptic package management utility

2007-11-24 Thread johnstrass
Public bug reported:

I am using XUbuntu7.10, with language-pack-zh and language-pack-zh-base
installed. When I open synaptic and click the search button and type a word to
search, it is OK. But if I want to search a second word and I click the search
button again, there is the old word highlighted. When I input the new word,
there is no change in the input bar and the old word is stillthere and no new
letters appear.
This phenominon also happens in Ubuntu desktop. If I uninstall the
language-pack-zh and language-pack-zh-base, it will not happen.

[Bug 162795] Re: Cannot rename files with Traditional Chinese in Nautilus

2007-11-17 Thread johnstrass
I have the same problem. Has this bug solved? It is rather inconvenient
not to be able to rename files.

[Bug 160610] Kodak camera, gtkam automatically quit.

2007-11-06 Thread johnstrass
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gtkam

I use XUbuntu 7.04 and a Kodak camera. I connect the camera to usb port
and open the gtkam. When it is displaying the photo list, I click tha
left column and it quit. The photo list is very long maybe over 300
photoes. After gtkam quit, when I reopen gtkam it stopped when reloading
the driver of the camera. I had to kill it and shutdown my camera and
then repower my camera to make it work again.
