Yes, I am still having the issue in Oneiric. With both Unity and Gnome 3. Correction, this is a problem with my user settings from Ubuntu 11.04. I don't have any problems with a new user account. Removing /usr/share/icons/hicolor/icon-theme.cache does in fact fix the bug. For performance reasons is there a way to generate a new cache?
