[Bug 1576426] [NEW] FF 46 crashes in 12.04

2016-04-28 Thread jsjag
Public bug reported:

Firefox updated today and will not start in 12.04
It will not start in safe mode
It is an Oxygen theme problem
In my zeal to try and get it running, I accepted to refresh.
It removed my profile, all history, etc. and there is nothing to bring back
once FF gets running again
Not at all happy! This should not happen on a LTS.

** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

I'm not 100% confident I am capable of doing what is requested on that
website.

Before attempting it, I'll have to run this request by my son who is more
well versed with Linux.

Who uses the phrase "no longer supported?" Oh wait I remember
Microsoft. IF you want to be the OS alternative such words as no longer
supported should not be part of the language.
