Well, russian font is working fine for me now. However I still have issues with latvian font. I have the same problem on Feisty at KDE, multilangauge support does not work for me om text editors (Edgy is working fine with the same config). Gnome was working fine 3 days ago too, but the last thing I have noticed, that you cannot switch language, if you will push to 'language' option, default settings are not changing.
