[Bug 178493] Re: looping bongo drums in ubuntu 7.10

2008-09-06 Thread komputika
Adding irqpoll to your bboot options should solve the issue. I had the
looping sound issue as well as intermittent wi-fi issues on my MSI
Vr320. Adding irqpoll solved everything. I am now running 2.6.26 on a
Debian Lenny/Testing, but this fix should be fine on Ubuntu as well.

[Bug 154821] Re: Openoffice doesn't work properly with xgl.

2007-10-23 Thread komputika
I don't know if it is somehow related, but some windows (e.g.:
confirmations and customize box) keep showing in full screen and cannot
be resized. Any clue?

[Bug 95210] Re: Can't access to TTY- init /etc/event.id/tty1:16: Unknown stanza

2007-04-18 Thread komputika
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 92928 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/92928

using apt-get install system-services actually fixed this issue for me.
I don't know if that package was already installed before upgrading, but it
wasn't after the upgrade.
