No. I have since upgraded to the latest version and have no problem with the
re-booting loop issue. But, thanks for checking! I appreciate it.

[Bug 487553] [NEW] Remote desktop freeze up when connecting to Windows Vista Business remotely

2009-11-24 Thread kungpow
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: yelp

This started after I upgraded the remote computer I'm attempting to hook
up with to Windows Vista Business. I thought maybe it's a Vista
problem, however I can hook up to the remote computer via XP and have no
problems. The first problem is when connecting, the remote computer
doesn't recognize the password. Then the mouse freezes up, stalls or
responds very slowly. Cannot connect to the Vista using Ubuntu.

RE: [Bug 411635] Re: Flash player plugin in Firefox is not working

Do recommend a fix? I'm new to Ubuntu, I'm pretty good diagnosing Windows,
but not that sharp on Ubuntu!

Status in flashplugin-nonfree package in Ubuntu: Invalid

Bug description:
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

The Flash player has stopped working with Firefox 3.0. Websites state that
flash needs updating but when try I am told that a later version is already
installed. I have tried uninstalling Flash and reinstalling. I have tried
uninstalling and installing the version the websites want. I have tried
Firefox 3.5. Nothing makes any difference. My installation is pretty much
out of the box with nothing unusual installed.
