I have the same error: Evolution crashes randomly. When starting it in a
terminal window, I get the following message there when it crashes:

[Bug 881683] Re: compiz expo window drag behavior problem with mouse

I can confirm this behaviour. When dragging a window fastly while in
expo, the window is moving faster then the mouse. After dropping the
window I even have to click besides the window to drag it again. (... if
I have dropped the window while the mouse is besides the window - so the
offset seems to persist)
