2010-05-12 Thread larky
I have exactly the same problem with a Dell Inspiron 6400 running Ubuntu
10.04. If you need more information about hardware or log files just
ask.

[Bug 366651] Re: [RV530] Screen static noise using high resolutions

2010-05-04 Thread larky
This morning I plugged an external monitor and I get the behaviour
described in the bug #537640.

One of the solution proposed for that bug is to execute the following
command in order to disable KMS:

echo options radeon modeset=0 /etc/modprobe.d/radeon-kms.conf

It worked for me and it seems that it solved also the problem mentioned
in this bug... The drawback of this solution is that the correct
solution at login is no longer detected. Anyway, all the rest (or at
least what I tried till now) works perfectly.

[Bug 40367] Re: ggcov: Incorrect library version dependency

2008-02-11 Thread larky
With Gutsy the symbolic link from libbfd-2.17.50.20070426.so -
libbfd-2.18.so seems to work.
