[Bug 307450] [NEW] ubiquity - device list empty, possibly after using gparted on same session

2008-12-12 Thread Gonzalo Larralde
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I boot with LiveCD of Ubuntu 8.10. My hard disk was all used with two
NTFS partitions, so I use GParted to delete the second partition, and
I've created an ext3 partition to put ubuntu there. But when I ran
ubiquity to install Ubuntu on my box, the device/partition list was
empty.

I tried to run ubiquity from terminal to check if there's any kind of
log, or error message dropped to stdout, but no.

I'm attaching an screen shoot.

** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
