[Bug 843565] Re: software-center-gtk3 crashed with TypeError in _get_app_icon_xy_position_on_screen(): 'NoneType' object is not iterable

[Bug 676981] Re: [MASTER] gwibber-accounts crashed with DBusException in call_blocking()
I am on AMD64 and the latest beta of 11.10. Gwibber displays its window but no entries show. I try to change the screen using the tabs and it greys out for a few minutes before showing yet another blank window. Pressed Accounts... with the thought that it may have lost my settings and that is when this error occurred. I used Gwibber quite successfully when it was first introduced but continuing crashes for various reasons drove me to going back to the browser, my Android or Turpial for reading Twitter. ** Attachment added: Screenshot of blank Gwibber window https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gwibber/+bug/676981/+attachment/2415720/+files/Gwibber%20Screenshot%20at%202011-09-17%2016%3A46%3A44.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/676981 Title: [MASTER] gwibber-accounts crashed with DBusException in call_blocking() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gwibber/+bug/676981/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 848240] Re: compiz crashed with SIGSEGV in nux::WindowCompositor::FindKeyFocusArea()
@jking in comment #3 is correct. But the pattern is not erratic. It always starts when a number of applications are operating and putting the system under a lot of switching pressure. I have noticed that it is usually when a larger application like GIMP or Libreoffice is used in anger. The screen freezes, the disk light flashes for a while, then it will go through a dance of a blank screen, partial displays of application windows, back to a blank and finally come up with a working screen with all the windows still in place and workable again--except that we now have the fault dialog box centre screen. Glad to see that this fault is confirmed but noted that half a dozen bug reports appear to be duplicates. It may also be related to the slow response which often leads to applications greying out or throwing an unresponsive dialog box. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/848240 Title: compiz crashed with SIGSEGV in nux::WindowCompositor::FindKeyFocusArea() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nux/+bug/848240/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 480596] Re: Incompatible extension 'Google Gears' in Firefox 3.5
Struck this problem with 32-bit Karmic Koala today. Reinstalled Gears 05.32.0 code from Google. It reloaded its cache on my machine and carried on. Had the same issue with the 64-bit Karmic Koala only a two days ago. The reinstall did not help. Did a search and came up with Niel Speen's patch at nielspeen.com/blog/2009/02/google-gears-64-bit. With nothing to lose, I installed his version (which appears in the add-ons as 05.33.0) and it appears to be working just fine. Using Gears with Linux has always been bumpy. I hope that this kind of messing about and uncertainty is going to be eliminated in the future. Gears is an useful bit of kit for the kind of work that I do. -- Incompatible extension 'Google Gears' in Firefox 3.5 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/480596 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
