[Bug 1454868] Re: Ubuntu 15.04 Freezes Totally

2015-08-23 Thread lidex
SAme problem here . Mine is a new install. Partitions were wiped first.
Around 60% require power switch or alt + sys req = R_E_I_S_U_B. Can
barely get anything done. No issues with 14.10.

2015-05-01 Thread lidex
Had a kernel update today. Same errors but i thought i'd try a variation on one
of the workarounds. After the update I did NOT reboot and went into synaptic
and selected nvidia 331 updates as well as uvm updates and selected re-install.
After completion I
rebooted and all was well. The easiest fix for me yet.

Exact same as #15. After 8/26 updates.
Output of /usr/lib/indicator-session/indicator-session-service has changed from
(process:2826): Indicator-Session-DEBUG: Unable to get lock screen shortcut.
to
(process:2572): Indicator-Session-DEBUG: Lock screen shortcut: ControlAltl
Clearly something has changed, but it still segfaults.
