[Bug 240632] Re: Firefox3.0 received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault

2008-07-04 Thread linuxatico88
what the hell it's happening? why nobody is taking care of this bug? why
nobody answer me or does nothing (apparently) ? this is still happening
not only to flash pages, and very very sucks...i'm going to try make
gnash work, if not, i would try to notify all the situation in the
ubuntu\firefox\ephifany\adobe forums, and if not, i would be forced to
change browser and distro

i have some news, bad news i think today i saw that my firefox's
output on the terminal was saying:

I think this is related to

but with the difference that it does not crash

[Bug 240632] [NEW] Firefox3.0 received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault

2008-06-17 Thread linuxatico88
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox

I noticed that on my notebook HP dv2570el with Ubuntu 8.04, firefox3.0
rcX (because also before the last Release Candidate i had these kind of
problems and with the Alpha) crashed lot of timesmore than this i
don't know what 3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1 means cause i don't know
what version it means, but i'm afraid of having only the RC1 (my system
does everyday apt-get update apt-get dist-upgrade). Anyway the
crash happens specifically when are opened flash videos, (but not
only)... now i report this crash, with the most i knew about the way of
reporting bugs, if someone can tell me what to do of more, i would be
very happy of giving my very little hands to you, thank you for all and
sorry if I reported a bug already fixed\known.

[Bug 240632] Re: Firefox3.0 received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault

2008-06-17 Thread linuxatico88
1)
the crash is not simply reproducible, i mean, there is not a page that i can
mark as crasher but a series of examples...the most of them are youtube or
google video's pages, but also when a lot of tabs were opened (x 15),
sometimes happened that with some tabs opened it crashed and restoring them it
crashed in a little piece of time, until i began a new blank session.
Now i tried again to reproduce the crash under gdb but this is what happens:
nothing, after the loading of firefox it seems that for gdb the program exited
normally, while instead it remains opened and i can surf on the web, apperantly
without any crash

2)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ apt-cache policy flashplugin-nonfree
