[Bug 328089] Re: [Jaunty] splashy 0.3.13-3ubuntu1 fresh install conflicts with lsb-base
Guys my intention was to install usplash from debian sid repos. So I did remove ubuntus splashy and tried to install usplash but with no success due to above mentioned dpkg and lsb init error I repeat the installtation was incomplete, but inspite I that I have a working ubuntu splashy even though after run level 2 where out put tells what startprograms (such as firestarter) are being stopped. -- [Jaunty] splashy 0.3.13-3ubuntu1 fresh install conflicts with lsb-base https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/328089 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 539834] [NEW] package splashy (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite '/etc/lsb-base-logging.sh', which is also in package lsb-base 0:4.0-0ubuntu5
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: splashy HI i wanted to install splashy from debian sid repos but couldn't install it due to an error. I know it is not good to mix repos with other distros but just gave it a try. The attempt to install didn't go well according to terminal-output. I guess it is just because of that gnome log me out. I am gonna go back to ubuntus splashy :) Thanks guys.
