[Bug 280414] Re: Installing mdadm also installs citadel-common, etc.

2008-10-20 Thread lsdark
this append because mdadm depend on a virtual package that provide a MTA.
It seems that if none is present, citadel is chosen by default.
If one is present, mdadm is installed alone.
Perhaps postfix would be a better idea as default dependency ?

[Bug 211016] Re: Gstreamer with Pulseaudio on Network : no Sound

This workaround doesn't work, sorry
The problem is really in gst-pusle, as said above, mplayer for example works
fine.

[Bug 211016] Re: Gstreamer with Pulseaudio on Network : no Sound

2008-04-05 Thread lsdark
** Description changed:

+ On ubuntu Hardy Heron Beta
Trying to send sound from A to B using Pulseaudio over a TCP network.
No sound at all using one of gnome's gstreamer app : totem, rhythmbox,
exaile..
In exaile and rhythmbox, nothing happen : no sound, no error, progress bar
don't move.
In totem : error message : Failed to create stream (null)
Setup seems ok as using mplayer with pulse output selected in prefs on A send
sound to B ok
  I also try :
  mpg123 -s fichier.mp3 | pacat
  - ok
it seems the problem is in gstreamer, altough in gstreamer-properties
Pulseaudio Output is selected and clicking Test send sound from A to B ok.

  I try with gst-launch :
  # gst-launch-0.10 filesrc location=fichier.mp3 ! mad ! pulsesink
  result in :

  Setting pipeline to PAUSED ...
  Pipeline is PREROLLING ...
ERROR: from element /pipeline0/pulsesink0: Failed to create stream:
  (null)
  Additional debug info:
  pulsesink.c(388): gst_pulsesink_prepare (): /pipeline0/pulsesink0
ERROR: pipeline doesn't want to preroll.
  Setting pipeline to NULL ...
  FREEING pipeline ...
+
+ Was working fine in Gutsy Gibbon
