(possible way to solve this issue?) Sir, One option might be to remove all dependency on system themes. Firefox shouldn't care about the system themes. No dependence. All text should be rendered: 1. like the .css developer wanted or, 2. if he uses !important, render it simply black on white. In a nutshell, default FF canvas(for everything, including input boxes) and font should be white and black respectively. We shouldn't inherit this from the system theme. Why should we? Started getting the bug after a SW update early today. Reboot did not work but logout and login worked ! Let me try to see if there is a sequence that reproduces it. Hello, The problem is not getting repeated with the latest version 11.10. In-fact, I'm much disappointed for not including Ubuntu classic desktop view in Oneiric Ocelot. There are many advantages in including classic view. Some of the advantages are: 1. As a user, I can directly click one of the minimized applications to maximize them. This way I can maximize with one click. But by not including classic view, I'm forced to find and maximize app by pressing the keys 'alt + tab'. This way I have to press tab key couple of times to select a specific application to maximize and hence becoming very inconvenience. 2. As a user, I'm able to see what are all the applications I have opened so far if classic desktop view exist. I will be missing this comfort-ability if classic view does not exist. In the current version, may be I can see the opened apps at the side-wall, but when I open couple of work-spaces belongs to single app, I can see only single app icon at the side-wall. I did get English words correctly as I desired. But even though I set the keyboard and the character correctly to get Rachana, I didn't get the desired output. The letters I got is entirely different from what I got when I typed. While typing it is Rachana, ok. I tried to give letters shape according to the style given in the Frontwork Gallery. Set the keyboard and the front correctly to change the letters in 'Rachana'. Clicked Frontwork Galley button, then Text(F2). Deleted the 'small' letters appeared at the center of the selected Frontwork. Typed. The letters appeared at the center were in Rachana. But when I clicked outside the letters appeared were entirely different. Tried several times. Today again something swallows my message. Just a minute ago the message did appear in the box just above (Add comment) indeed. But when I clicked the back button that is seen just below the menu bar, it disappeared. While I am typing this message I can see only the message I typed 22 hours before . And the number I see on the right is #17. It is the message I sent yesterday. It will appear only after so me button is pressed. MAY BE SOME BUG. When I clicked the 'Post comment' button, yellow green colour appeared quickly one after the other,and faded away before the message is visible in the box. Need I doubt? I have copied the output of cat /etc/apt/sources.list using terminal And all the information appeared in the box seen just the 'Add comment' box. But when I clicked to go back and again to forward(using the arrow marks seen just below Menu bar)the information is seen nowhere.. The same thing happened yesterday also. I had so many problems with Chromium browser, VLC media player and Update manager. Now fresh package for updating appeared in the Update manager for the last for or 5 days. But just before that two packages appeared, I think it was under the head, Recommended updates. But couldn't update. And does not request my pass word. Only a jerking for a moment. I have explained in Qn: 138486 Chromium Browser created on 2010-12-20. After that I tried did Memory Test as a follow up of Debugging. It shows-- error: too small lower memory (0x99100 0x8f000). I coudn't give command using 'sudo gpd..' as first two attempts failed ( as a part of Backtrace). I am also facing the same problem. After proper installation of GSynaptics i am getting the error GSynaptics couldn't initialize.
