after the ndiswrapper message "couldn't allocate dma buf".

1. Click on the xfce menu->Terminal
2. The terminal is opened but just for a second or less and then crashes

Expected result:

Terminal should stay opened

I just compiled my own ndiswrapper 1.9 downloaded from sourceforge and
no more hangups. I think that the ndiswrapper shipped with the ubuntu
686 kernels is somehow broken.

Same here, using ndiswrapper with usb adapter, however this is not the
same wifi adapter, this one is an encore g or something like that, the
chipset is SiS.

I have noticed also that this happens with -686 kernel, 383 kernel
doesn't give any problems, tested with kernel 2.6.15-27-686
