[Bug 1165882] Re: Save photos... destination fail (multiple files)
Welp, considering that this bug report was originally posted over eight years ago... for gtkam v. 0.1.18-1 ... while gtkam at present stands at gtkam 1.0 (Linux Mint 20.2 MATE [Ubuntu 20.04 variant]). This bug report seems no longer relevant since none of what I posted originally, still applies today? I'd change it's status to 'closed' but it does not appear that I have the option to do so? . -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1165882 Title: Save photos... destination fail (multiple files) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtkam/+bug/1165882/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1257108] Re: gtkam segmentation fault
I thought this was fixed in Linux Mint 17 (MATE 64-bit)? It's not. Since some camera's are not being presented with the mount option at all in LM17 (and Ubuntu 14.04 as well) was going to be my alternative. ~ # lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Now it crashes after completing transfer of some images from the camera (Canon SX260) to the hard drive. The transfer completes successfully, but then when I click on another 'directory' which my camera creates month by month, gtkam then crashes. [Bug 1165882] [NEW] Save photos... destination fail (multiple files)
Public bug reported: Happens in both Ubuntu Desktop 12.10 and LinuxMint 14 MATE (both 64-bit) Package: gtkam | Version: 0.1.18-1 | Architecture: amd64 Initialize camera, unmount if prompted, start gtkam. In gtkam select/save a single image to a chosen directory. Image is saved to target directory as expected. But... Instead, choose multiple images in gtkam, right-click and Save. Choose/create a specific target directory location (other than $HOME) and then click 'Save'. The multiple images are downloaded and saved to root of user's $HOME directory instead of the target directory. EVERY TIME. Other config changes in the 'Save photos...' window such as: 'What to save:' and 'Use filename(s) provided by camera' do not change this buggy behavior. [Bug 1080533] Re: Cloudprint does not function
I've had the same experience with cloudprint 0.5 from the ubuntu depository. cloudprint 0.5 doesn't do the google cloudprint credentialling correctly. Or something like that? The good news is that the developer: https://github.com/armooo/cloudprint has now made cloudprint 0.9 (as I write this) available, which does work again to serve printers via a *nix machine, via google cloudprint as designed. The downside at the moment is one has to do a 'pip install cloudprint' from the git. A harrowing experience for this lowly user! But if successful cloudprint 0.9 DOES WORK! As I found 'pip install cloudprint' is a bit weird. Hopefully the ubuntu-devs will be able find to time to do an updated build to 'cloudprint 0.9' or beyond? Soon? Thanks. . -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1080533 Title: Cloudprint does not function To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cloudprint/+bug/1080533/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 226279] Re: Kernel 2.6.24-17 - broken resume from suspend to RAM
Re: APavlov's recent comment. Just tried suspend, then resume, then 'sudo reboot' on my machine. My machine rebooted without the hang described by APavlov. To be clear. I _only_ installed the -19 linux-image*-generic, linux- ubuntu-modules*, linux-restricted-modules* debs using 'apt-get install'. I did not install any of the other suggested updates showing in 'update- manager' with the 'deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy- proposed main restricted universe multiverse' repository active. [Bug 226279] Re: Kernel 2.6.24-17 - broken resume from suspend to RAM
Just to clarify my earlier comment (#75). The suspend/resume functionality _work_ on my machine (HP Compaq M2108US) when booted into 2.6.24-16. For me the resume from suspend issue started with -17, continuing with -18. Today I re-read "APavlov's" comment #6 and decided to test. I booted into 2.6.24-18, initiated suspend, then resume. Hard drive spins up, but no display, no prompt, no keyboard or mouse function. I wait. ~2 mins later, display lights up, keyboard and mouse function return, log in, all is well. Second test still in 2.6.24-18, initiate suspend, then resume, wait, ~4 mins after resume, again, display lights, keyboard and mouse function returns, etc. Attached is my syslog during the time frame of the two 'tests' described above. I'm not a developer or a programmer. I don't know what's up here? ** Attachment added: "resume_issue_syslog.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/14991100/resume_issue_syslog.txt -- Kernel 2.6.24-17 - broken resume from suspend to RAM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226279 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
