[Bug 535476] Re: CM106 usb sound card incorrectly detected as stereo only

2014-02-01 Thread maximi89
The problem of stereo with this device is due to the configuration of
the .asoundrc file, When I connected this device in my LinuxMint 16 it
detected it as a stereo device, but later applied the configuration
recommended at http://www.6by9.net/output-to-multiple-audio-devices-
with-alsa/

it started to work as a 5.1 device... if you kill pulseaudio and just
let ALSA, you will know it's ALSA who is not working as a 5.1 but
detecting it's 5.1, alsamixer...

If I use fixed CPU speed, there is no problem at all! The whole NB freezes
at the first change of CPU speed! It does not matter if I set it automatic
(like ondemand, or powersave profile) or set the clock by hand.
Unfortunately on a NB, it is very good to have the standby feature, and also
the CPU clock automation. Unfortunately I have to choose one of them since
 using 8.1!

kill 30028 kill the application, now start the server ODS (obex-data-server)
obex-data-server --no-daemon now you can monitor ODS (this send only, with
some calls of DBUS this can receive files)

You need download the sources from www.bluez.org, you open the folder in
terminal, where you put the folder...
what happen if you try this?
maxim...@maximiliano:~/obex-data-server-0.4.4$ python test/ods-server-test.py
opp /tmp
you can receive files, that means ODS are ok, the problem is bluetooth-applet,
because it only can send files, for receiv needs gnome-user-share, but this are
not working yet...

i have installed, gnome-bluetooth 2.27.5-1

i think bluetooth-applet needs to receive files using same ODS, and open
any folder using command lines... because all use differents desktop, if
you have a old machine, but you use bluetooth, why have installed
nautilus? when you use thunar, pcmanfm or any other file manager?...

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=531525

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=530492
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=530826

How you can see, the problem is from bluetooth-applet, because ODS itself can
receive and send files, but for receive needs a program for open a session for
receive... like we do with python test/ods-server-test.py opp /tmp but this
is maded from DBUS calls...
Now, the gnome-bluetooth 0.9 have a program gnome-obex-server who are been
replaced be bluetooth-applet in version 2.27

Any one questions?

hi, what say the:
cat /usr/lib/pm-utils/defaults

in my case is a desktop computer, but i set this:

SLEEP_MODULE=uswsusp
HIBERNATE_MODE=shutdown
# These variables will be handled specially when we load files in
# /etc/pm/config.d.
# Multiple declarations of these environment variables will result in
# their contents being concatenated instead of being overwritten.

# If you need to unload any modules to suspend/resume, add them here.
SUSPEND_MODULES=nvidia ehci_hcd ohci_hcd uhci_hcd iwl3945 button

True, you don't edit the file /usr/lib/pm-utils/defaults
because that till we overwritten with new version of pm-utils

go to the file and put the same i tell you up, and try if that work for you...
sudo nano /etc/pm/config.d/config
and write the prefferences.

if you have errors, go and read the manual:
http://en.opensuse.org/Pm-utils

or try google

[Bug 268502] Re: Bluetooth doesn't work (hci_cmd_task: hci0 command tx timeout)

2009-05-23 Thread maximi89
Hi, bluez 4.40 fix my problem, please closes this bug, i use gnome-obex-
send:

gnome-obex-send -d XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX '/home/maximi89/Foto curriculo.png'

works mostly, kernel 2.6.30-rc6 fix the problem of hci0 tx timeout

sorry, i was trying with:
sudo hciconfig hci0 up
sudo hcitool cc XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX (holtmann of bluez say that it's only for
developers)
that's wrong because with l2ping tell you are working fine sending tx, and
gnome-obex-send or other program can tell you if are sending files or not.

When i back to the reposiroty of debian bluez 4.34-0exp1 and do
hciconfig hci0 up this works for me with a bluetooth sender files like
gnome-obex-send

So this bug is invalid.
Greetings!

 the
  /etc/pm/config.d
  refer: http://en.opensuse.org/Pm-utils
Any file in /etc/pm/config.d will be evaluated for configuration
variables, which are listed in /usr/lib/pm-utils/defaults.

why edit another file? because the defaults config of that file will be
overwrite with the default settings that does´t works... i think we need to
ask to the people what configuration works in all cases.

in this case creating a file called modules or config inside

  HIBERNATE_MODE=shutdown
Yes, just dump these lins inside a file in /etc/pm/config.d. Any name can
 be used for the file.

Sorry, but i hear a lot of people with the same problem, because platform
does not work, for me works hibernate only with pm-utils, but when i install
uswsusp this come with platform, and that don´t works for alot of people,
susend to disk don´t work in all...this need some parameters, most people
don´t use hibernate, so they don´t report this problems, i think pm-utils
need come with the modules be default.

Because the default configuration it's platform, and that does not
 works...
about the modules, if you suspend without this parameters suspend
don't works too... still poweron and freeze...
  What do you think about?
all here... what think about this? who have problems or need make this
  change when installd the system?
platform is the default because it mean that system-specific
optimizations can be done. If disk works for you then use disk, but
platform will remain the default, because that's what works for most
 people.

Did you read the header of the file? It said DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE! Add
files in /etc/pm/config.d/ instead, which is what you should have done.
The reason for this is that if you modify the variables here, they will
be overwritten when you upgrade pm-utils. So you should just dump a file
in /etc/pm/config.d with the line HIBERNATE_MODE=shutdown.

Re: [Bug 268502] Re: Bluetooth doesn't work (hci_cmd_task: hci0 command tx timeout)

2009-05-08 Thread maximi89
What about the kernel, and bluez programs?, i have the bluetooth-applet, and
btusb 0.4, yesterday i read about umounting /proc/bus/usb the bluetooth
works for a moment, but a time later the device stop to works and happen the
same, only messages about hci0 time out
http://osdir.com/ml/linux.bluez.user/2003-07/msg00129.html

Greetings!

2009/5/8 Giles Weaver giles.wea...@googlemail.com

 I have the same device

1131:1001 Integrated System Solution Corp. KY-BT100 Bluetooth Adapter

It works with Ubuntu 9.04, but not for very long:(
It times out after a short time when I use it to connect to my
 Sony-Ericcson
K510i. It worked fine under Ubuntu 8.04 and still works under Windows XP,
 so
I think that there is still a bluetooth stack issue under Jaunty, though
 the
situation is improved as compared to 8.10.

 2009/5/8 adamjlincoln adamjlinc...@gmail.com

  Confirming that my device

1131:1001 Integrated System Solution Corp. KY-BT100 Bluetooth Adapter

works now under a plain old Jaunty netbook remix install
  (2.6.28-11-generic kernel).

I have only tried using it with a wiimote, so I can't confirm phone
  issues. The wiimote works fine.

  Thanks everyone!

[Bug 276573] Re: P2POutputStream: write error

2009-04-27 Thread maximi89
Men, if you have another driver for your device try it, i have a HP
Larserjet p1005, and when i print with hpijs driver only i get numbers
with the top saying it's pdf-1.3 pdftopdf, so i change the driver to
foomatic/foo2xqx and the hpijs to foomatic/hpijs-ZJS now i can print
without that error, that error was only with hpijs, so i get now the
foo2xqx that's normal quality, and hpijs-ZJS draft quality.

greetings
