[Bug 991983] Re: precise fails to turn off thinkpad t61
On my Thinkpad T61 the driver module e1000e causes this lockup. To test if this is your case also, run the following in a terminal and then try to shutdown: sudo rmmod e1000e Regards. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/991983 Title: precise fails to turn off thinkpad t61 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/991983/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 948939] [NEW] Should recommend adobe-flashplugin on amd64
Public bug reported: With the availability of adobe-flashplugin 64-bit in the partner repository, this metapackage should recommend "adobe-flashplugin OR flashplugin-installer" on amd64. [Bug 939954] Re: noip2 for precise
It seems to have been dropped from Debian stable and testing. It is, however, still available in Debian unstable. [Bug 781165] Re: Wrong default icon used in GDM greeter
I have not install Oneiric, but it seems that the icon used in the user menu is also from the Gnome icon theme and not Humanity. [Bug 781165] [NEW] Wrong default icon used in GDM greeter
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: humanity-icon-theme Ubuntu Version: 11.04 Package Version: 0.5.3.10 The gdm greeter (i.e. login screen) displays the avatar icon for the default Gnome Icon Theme and not the Humanity Theme as in previous versions. I believe that this is because the version of gdm used in Natty now looks for the 'avatar-default' icon and not 'stock_person', as can be seen in the gdm commit messages (http://git.gnome.org/browse/gdm/log/?qt=grep&q=avatar). Since the Humanity Theme inherits 'gnome', the default Gnome version is found and used. ** Affects: humanity-icon-theme (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/781165 Title: Wrong default icon used in GDM greeter -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 649809] Re: the session settings manager can try starting before the login screen one exits
When testing Natty in VirtualBox for the past few weeks It happened on every login. I installed Natty on real hardware (Lenovo Thinkpad T61 with Intel Graphics) 4 days ago and this has happened to me twice, so it is definitely not VM specific. A logout and login has fixed it both times. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/649809 Title: the session settings manager can try starting before the login screen one exits -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
