[Bug 1644057] Re: Excessive Disconnect unmatched entries from sshd

2017-01-24 Thread mithras
I have a variety of lines that do not fit into Logwatch' regex for sshd.
They are mainly caused by the lack of a port in the formatting. There
are three typical lines that are affected:

Received disconnect from [***] port [***]:11:  [preauth] : 1 time(s)
Disconnected from [***] port [***] [preauth] : 1 time(s)
Connection reset by [***] port [***] [preauth] : 3 time(s)

The first line is matched by using a provided patch:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=1136417&action=diff
The other two still remain in my case, I manually patched
/usr/share/logwatch/scripts/services/sshd for the "Received disconnect from"

What is the update for this issue? I couldn't find any details about
patches from upstream, otherwise I could test those as well.

[Bug 1304865] Re: [LENOVO 20A70037US] suspend/resume failure

2014-04-09 Thread mithras
I updated the bug since I tested the kernel 3.14.0-031400 for amd64. The
bug does still exist in that kernel. Therefore, I confirmed the bug
again and added the requested tag.

Joseph: I installed the generic kernel. Not the lowlatency one. Should I
test that one too? Also, if I can help with more debug information (logs
or whatever) please tell me so I can give a hand.

** Description changed:

  Suspend and resume fails with Ubuntu 14.04. As far as I recon, the
  suspend works but the laptop never resumes. I am not sure where to
  report this problem (it's now under the package "Linux") but I can help

  In short, what I expected:

  What happened:

  Reproducible: always, as well as clicking "suspend" in the menu top-
  right of ubuntu. Resume also fails clicking the power button of the

[Bug 1242376] Re: "reload php5-fpm" crashes

2014-04-09 Thread mithras
I'm on precise64 with ondrej's PPA for php 5.5 and experiencing the same
issues. Using "service" results in the bug report's error. Using init.d
gives me:

stop: Rejected send message, 1 matched rules; type="method_call",
sender=":1.15" (uid=1001 pid=21912 comm="stop php5-fpm ")
interface="com.ubuntu.Upstart0_6.Job" member="Stop" error name="(unset)"
requested_reply="0" destination="com.ubuntu.Upstart" (uid=0 pid=1
comm="/sbin/init")

Enabling the reload in /etc/init/php-fpm gives me this response on
service php5-fpm stop:

stop: Method "Get" with signature "ss" on interface
"org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties" doesn't exist

Now I am killing manually the php processes and with service I am
spinning them up again (all tested inside vagrant), but I'd like to know
what's the solution for 12.04 ppl now using php 5.5.

2009-03-31 Thread mithras
I added a commment to the kde ticket. This is a kde specific issue. This
is because of the new version of opensync (the 0.22 is out of support).
When new plugins are available (like an akonadi one) for 0.40, kde (and
kubuntu) can add the new kitchensync to the repository.

excellent howto is written at the kde-wiki (sorry, currently broken):

Can confirm this too.

The bug about libkcal2b is about unmet dependencies.
Downloading the hardy package file will make clear it requires libkdepim1a, but
libkdepim1a is not installable. The same is for libktnef1: libkcal2b requires
libktnef1, but libktnef1 is not installable.

[Bug 256210] Re: kipi-plugins cannot be installed on intrepid with KDE4

2008-09-14 Thread mithras
I've installed gwenview, libkipi5, libexiv2-6 and digikam-kde4.
Installing kipi-plugins tries to uninstall gwenview, digikam-kde4 and libkipi5.
It tries to install libkipi0 en libexiv2-3.

The problem is more specific: kipi-plugins needs libkipi0. Libkipi0
conflicts with libkipi5 and libkipi5 is needed by digikam-kde4 and
gwenview. Creating a kipi-plugins-kde4 with dependencies of libkipi5
will resolve the problem I think.

[Bug 269577] [NEW] Preferences window unusable

2008-09-12 Thread mithras
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rsibreak-kde4

The preferences window is accessed by the context menu (right click on
system tray icon). You see a right placed and sized window, but all
wigdets are in a small frame. You see the upper left corner. Scrolling
in this window lets you see the lower parts. The window is completely
not usable.

I could not find any template file for the window, so I don't know how
to fix it. See the attachment for a screenshot.
