[Bug 553200] Re: Mouse and keyboard stop working after selecting user
Same here, I installed nvidia_96 through Jockey today after a buch of updates on a fresh install of Beta 2. nvidia_96 fails to install properly, Then after a reboot, GDM crashes after clicking on a user. GDM restarts after a few seconds. I switched to tty1 and sudo stop gdm && startx. Gnome desktop loads with nvidia accelerated graphics. nvidia module is actually loaded and running. Compiz effects are working. But Jockey still reports that nvidia was disabled. This is my kids computer so I cant expect her to login through the cli so its back to nouveau for now. -- Mouse and keyboard stop working after selecting user https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/553200 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 536851] [NEW] Monitor shuts off after clean install of Lucid Lynx Alpha 3
Public bug reported: First attempt at running a live Lucid Alpha 3 CD (March 8 2010 Daily build) resulted in a black screen and monitor switching off.
