[Bug 1065138] Re: Module lirc_wpc8769l not provided

2012-10-16 Thread mohrtutchy
I tried to compile the module from the latest release of lirc. The module was
built and modprobed successfully (under quantal and wheezy) but the ir device
was unusable.
I suppose there is some problem with linux 3.x. It seems that some modules need
to be rewritten in order to work properly under 3.x.
As an example I had the same problem with a dvb-usb driver. When the module was
rewritten for linux 3.3 the device restarted to work as expected.

[Bug 1065138] [NEW] Module lirc_wpc8769l not provided

2012-10-10 Thread mohrtutchy
Public bug reported:

This driver was provided by lirc-modules-source until natty.
Now lirc modules are moved to the kernel, by the way there is not any kernel
package including lirc_wpc8769l.
It was forgotten by ubuntu packagers or it was rejected for some reason?

[Bug 480717] [NEW] syndaemon doesn't accept device name option

2009-11-11 Thread mohrtutchy
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics

Since SHMConfig option is not needed, there is no way to set the right target
device for syndaemon when there are two touchpads or more.
This is a patch for syndaemon to add a -n option for the device name
http://bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=202431action=view

I suppose that the same thing could be done for synclient.

I'm still unable to reproduce the bug but i noticed that turning off
snapoff maximized windows on move window plugin in ccsm seems to
solve.

[Bug 330894] Re: Clicking on window does not change focus

2009-02-18 Thread mohrtutchy
Thanks to you Pedro, I know it's very hard to be so kind when people report
weird and not reproducible bugs. ;)
Here are the answers:
* No, I'm still looking for the way to do it
* It seems it happens when I have lot of windows opened, especially gvim,
gnome-terminal, nautilus and mplayer but this could be not related.
* Yes, I'm using compiz, when it happens, if I run
$ metacity --replace
the problem remains. I also tried to clean gconf running
$ gconftool-2 --shutdown
$ gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /
but no luck.

Thanks again

[Bug 330894] [NEW] Clicking on window does not change focus

2009-02-17 Thread mohrtutchy
Public bug reported:

The focus of a window does not always change when I click on it. It happens
appearently random and i had no luck in reproducing it.
For instance, if firefox is open and a gnome-terminal is open, clicking on the
gnome-terminal will bring it to the top of the z-order, but focus will not
change to it and all keyboard actions will be sent to firefox instead of the
terminal. I can change focus using alt-tab or using the window list applet. If
i click on the title bar, the window makes a small movement and get focus but
the title bar isn't highlighted. A further problem is that I cannot alt-drag
windows. Turning off compiz doesn't resolve, the only way is to restart X.
